Active volunteer firefighter spanning 44 years first with The Citizens Hose Co., Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, PA 1965 through 1988 then with The Cetronia Fire Department, Lehigh County, PA 1990 to present.
Training includes but not limited to
Pennsylvania State Basic Firefighting and Rescue, Lewistown State Fire Academy, 1967 and 1972 Lycoming County Fire College Weekend, 1967-1982 EMT Certification 1975, Jersey Shore, Hospital, Lycoming County HazMat RI, Cetronia Fire Dept, 1995 Bucks County Fire Training, Pump I and Pump II 1997 and 1998 EVOC, 2003
Lou is married to Debbie and between them they have 6 sons, one grandson and finally, a granddaughter. Lou and Debbie live in South Whitehall close to Station 3. Lou sells medical X-Ray equipment and Debbie is a Radiographer at Valley Sports and Arthritis Surgeons. Lou's hobbies are competitive shooting, photography, and "talking." Debbie is active at Cedar Lutheran Church where she and Lou sing in the adult choir. They both have their hands full with all their family, especially their 2 dogs, Jack, a 6 year old Yellow Lab and Rocco, a 2 year old Boxer.
